We owe the Vetted Facts about the
New Orleans Flood to the Survivors
The Southeast Lousiana Flood Protection Authority-East has filed a historic lawsuit demanding that 97 oil, gas and pipeline companies fix the damage they caused to Louisiana's coastal wetlands.
The wetlands are important for Greater New Orleans because they reduce hurricane storm surge.
But Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal opposes the lawsuit.
And now the spirit of the 2006 Levee Board Consolidation legislation–intended to insulate the levee boards from politics––is being put to the test.
Please sign this petition asking the Governor to join the people, not the oil and gas industry.
