Yesterday, the president delivered his budget. As feared, it includes the chained CPI cuts to Social Security.
The chained CPI alters the cost-of-living adjustment for benefits, but the math is wrong. Seniors have different expenses than young people. This is a cut masquerading as a technical fix.
