OBAMA: CITIZENS TOO SIMPLEMINDED TO UNDERSTAND DEBT DEBATE

Cut through all the posturing and presidential puffery from
President Obama's press conference on the debt ceiling debate
and one fact stands out:
President Obama thinks you and I are not quite
sophisticated enough to understand the debt
ceiling debate!
When a reporter challenged Obama about the disconnect between
his views on raising the debt ceiling and the fact that the
vast majority of Americans oppose raising the debt ceiling,
Obama gave the classic liberal response -- the people just
don't understand. Here is what Obama said:
"The public is not paying close attention to the
ins and outs of how a Treasury auction goes."
(Translation: These things are very difficult
to understand.)
"[The public] shouldn't. They're worrying about
their family, they're worrying about their jobs...
neighborhood.- (Translation: The Little People
have enough to worry about.)
"We're paid to worry about it." (Translation: This
is the work of Professional Politicians, not
ordinary people who are worrying about their jobs.)
Then, Obama added insult to injury by saying that if he could
frame the debate in terms of an economic catastrophe, the

Obama and the Big Spenders think you are too
simpleminded to really understand the debt ceiling debate.
