As members of the Union, the states have final authority regarding the limits of the power of the central government. There has never been a federal law that is more unconstitutional than ObamaCare.
The process of nullification has been used before. Back in 1799, Thomas Jefferson wrote the "Kentucky Resolution," responding to a series of federal laws passed during an undeclared naval war against France. Jefferson said, "Nullification, by those sovereignties, of all unauthorized acts... is the rightful remedy."
Last Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to repeal ObamaCare. However, the healthcare law repeal has yet to pass the Senate. If it does make it through the Senate, Obama can still veto the law. Nullification is the last chance we have to get rid of ObamaCare.

ObamaCare Lawsuit: Model For Nullification
Just days after ObamaCare was signed into law, Florida’s former Attorney General Bill McCollum (R) filed a lawsuit against the individual mandate. The National Federal of Independent Business joins McCollum in fighting the trillion dollar budget buster.
A total of 27 states are taking part in the lawsuit – that’s more than half the states in the Union! If that isn’t enough to tell the Dems “No” to ObamaCare, I don’t know what is.
Sen. Monty Pierce, (R-ID) plans on introducing the nullification bill in his state this week. He said, “There are now 27 states that are in on the lawsuit against Obamacare. What if those 27 states do the same thing we do with nullification? It's a killer."
Nullification: A Way To Stop ObamaCare & Liberal Legislative Abuse
Imagine if we cut the $2.49 trillion dollar-a-year economic sinkhole from our budget. That would save an average American $8,125 dollars a year in government healthcare costs! Nullifying ObamaCare would not only cut costs, it would also send a strong message to the DC Liberals. Last March, the Dems passed the healthcare bill through backroom dealing and threats. While America stood up and said “NO!” to ObamaCare, the Liberals thumbed their noses up at the American people and passed it anyway.
ObamaCare has trained the Left not to listen to the American people. Now, it’s time to untrain them! If we are successful, every future law the Progressives attempt to ram down the throats of the American people would be subject to nullification. That means, their penchant for guerilla legislative tactics would be reined in. The Dems would pretty much be out of a job.

The Founding Fathers believed in a balance between state and federal power. The balance of power has shifted much too far in the direction of the federal government. Our Founding Fathers would be turning in their graves if they saw how much power the federal government has usurped from sovereign states in the past year. It’s time to restore that balance. With the increasing danger of Liberal out-of-control spending, a nullification bill has a good chance of passing.
Enough is enough. It’s time to stand up and tell the Left that they will no longer be allowed to pass unauthorized and unconstitutional laws against the will of the American people. Nullifying ObamaCare will teach the Liberals a lesson: they will no longer be able to get away with bullying and bending America to their will.
