The scandal behind RGGI is shocking. The head of the organization, Jonathan Schrag recently purchased a $2.2 million dollar condo in Manhattan. His posh residence includes 3 bedrooms, two baths and a breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline. While Schrag lives a life of luxury, hardworking Americans are getting hit with huge energy bills-directly from Schrag! So far, Schrag has refused to disclose his salary or the salary of any of his employees. The IRS requires companies to disclose what they pay themselves and their workers. Something fishy is going on at RGGI.
Our hard earned tax dollars are funding a bogus organization that is giving huge payouts to Obama's Liberal crooks. The organization is pure corruption and cronyism. RGGI accomplishes nothing. It only sticks huge tax increases on energy for consumers. After RGGI came to town energy prices in New England rose 0.9%. This fictitious organization oversees 10 states in the Northeast. If the limousine Liberals have their way RGGI will become a national organization. Don't let the pro-tax nuts make your energy bill skyrocket!
