As if already spending billions of American tax dollars and resources on "Global Warming" initiatives and legislation wasn't enough, how about spending $200,000 to attend a lavish party in the name of Climate Change!
CBS News is now reporting that our tax dollars paid to send more than one hundred Congress-related attendees to Copenhagen for the Climate Change Summit.
In all three military jets, two 737's and a Gulfstream
Five were used to shuttle attendees in luxurious comfort.
And once there, they lounged at five-star hotels and ate
in upscale restaurants.
And the cost to taxpayers? Nearly $200,000.
Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) said, "They're going because it's the biggest party of the year... The worst thing that happened there is they ran out of caviar."
Steve Ellis of Taxpayers for Common Sense, said, "Congress should be shaking the couch cushions looking for change, rather than spending cash for everybody to go to Copenhagen."

I cannot imagine the mindset of a legislator who would go to an unnecessary climate conference and live lavishly on taxpayers' money while millions of citizens
struggle to pay mortgages and heat their homes amidst rising energy costs and frigid temperatures gripping our nation.
And the worst part? It's all a sham.

Together, we're telling Congress that the lights are out on "Climate Alarmism." We are calling on our legislators to
exercise fiscal restraint in committing any more of our tax money to meaningless globetrotting and lavish parties disguised as important international "Climate" business.
We adamantly oppose any additional taxation or U.S. Government commitment of taxpayer money to an international treaty or agreement in the name of "Climate Change", and we are telling them so through our national petition "Opposing Climate Alarmism".
