Memo to Congress: Kiss jobs goodbye
Author warns against voting for tyranny, discrimination

The author of a book that implores Americans to stand up for the ideals that made the U.S. "the greatest, most prosperous and most generous nation in history " has written an open letter to members of Congress warning them against voting for tyranny, discrimination – and even treason. Or face the consequences.
"Hey all of you Democrat representatives and senators: Get used to being called Mr. or Ms. or Mrs. instead of senator or representative," wrote Michael Charles Master, author of "Save America Now."
"If you voted for the health care insurance bill, then you voted against the American people. You voted against your oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. You can try to rationalize your vote ... but the truth is that the entire bill should be rejected. It is a Democrat bill ... not an American bill ... it is socialism ... it violates the intents of our founding fathers for a limited government and it is full of unethical deals to get votes rather than stand on its own merits," he said.
The letter aligns closely with a separate campaign that has been run by Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND. The program has dispatched more than 9 million "pink slips" to members of Congress, warning them they could be seeing their real pink slip job termination notices as early as this election year based on their support for socialization of health care, big government spending, and others.
Masters targets the health care takeover plan – now up in the air because of this week's vote for a senator to replace the late Sen. Ted Kennedy.
"It clearly violates the 10th Amendment which states: 'The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people,'" he wrote. "You violated your oath of office. You hold politics as more important than your oath to protect and defend the Constitution. You are a traitor."
His book, "Save America Now," is a plea for Americans to join forces "in a common cause to save the America of our Founders."
"Today, the political debate and dialogue is dominated by a radical agenda to change America from what it has been to something very different, something we will not recognize, and something future generations will hardly find appealing. To turn this tide, a majority of Americans must unite and educate others to thwart this agenda," he writes.
In his open letter to Congress, he continues:
"How can you make people buy insurance or fine them just because they live in the USA without insurance? Health insurance is not like a driver's license or like income taxes. Besides, not everyone has a driver's license and not everyone pays income taxes. Certainly, those who do not drive or do not work are not required to pay taxes or to get driver's licenses even though they live in the USA. So how can you place a requirement of insurance just for being a USA citizen? That is tyranny."
"How can you implement a program that increases costs for insurance and increases taxes while reducing healthcare coverage? That is bad business," he writes. "How can you increase the size of government without decreasing its size somewhere else? That is creeping socialism."
Further, he states, "How can you exempt certain states, unions, and congress from this bill. That is discrimination. How can you ignore the vast opposition to this bill of 'We the People?' That is arrogant."
"And how can you pay for things with our taxes that are abhorrent to so many Americans ... like abortion? As said by Thomas Jefferson: 'To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical,'" he said.
He said the Declaration of Independence says it best, in that "governments are instituted among men … but whenever any form of government becomes destructive … it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government."
Farah said he believes if the program hits 10 million, there's a good chance the health care takeover plan will die.
"What I'm hearing from Capitol Hill is really simple – give the pink slips one more big push," says Farah. "Hit 10 million and it may be the end of health care."

The grassroots effort, organized by Farah and WND columnist Janet Porter, has warned members of the U.S. House and Senate they could be facing a "pink slip" as early as 2010.
