Desperate for votes and running low on time, Senate Majority Leader

Harry Reid tossed his copy of Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" aside when comparing opponents of ObamaCare to supporters of slavery!

      "When this country belatedly recognized the wrongs of

      slavery, there were those who dug in their heels and

      said 'slow down, it's too early, things aren't bad

      enough.'"

      He continued, "When this body was on the verge of

      guaranteeing equal rights to everyone regardless of

      the color o their skin, some senators resorted to the

      same filibuster threats that we hear today."

Fox News reported that aside from finding Reid's remarks extremelyoffensive, many in the Senate believe Reid is beginning to "crack" under the ever-increasing pressure of the ObamaCare debate...

This is music to my ears!

As our countdown clock winds down to our Thursday morning petition delivery--when EVERY senator will receive our petitions urging opposition to ObamaCare, I fully expect the pressure Harry Reid is feeling to reach a near boiling point...

especially considering that we have already SHATTERED our petition

delivery goal of 750,000!

I must admit there was a moment of celebration in our Grassfire offices when we learned today that 779,489 citizens are standing with us in opposition of ObamaCare--with hundreds more still rushing to sign.

I'm absolutely humbled by your amazing efforts to rally and mobilize citizens to take action. In fact, since November 30-- less than a week ago, more than 100,000 citizens have joined our cause!

But one question remains...

Can we rally an additional 70,000 citizens by midnight Wednesday pushing our total to 850,000?

Numbers that significant could cause Harry Reid to jump on his mule and head back to the Nevada desert!

Seriously speaking, we have an opportunity to drive a stake into the heart of this ill-conceived ObamaCare plan later this week, and I'm calling on our incredible team to help me push our petition totals to 850,000.
