Wednesday will mark the 8-year anniversary of the initiation of the war in Afghanistan. Eight long years, and what progress has been made? The country remains in chaos, civilian deaths have risen along with troop levels, the financial cost of the war is skyrocketing when our economy can least afford it, and the Al-Qaeda leadership is nowhere to be found.
All over the country, activists are educating their friends and neighbors about this misguided war by hosting hundreds of house party screenings of 'Rethink Afghanistan.'
