Obama Nominates La Raza Member to Supreme Court!
WorldNetDaily
Thank you again, from the team at WorldNetDaily.com!
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. Barack Obama has nominated ultra-liberal federal judge Sonia Sotomayor to replace outgoing Supreme Court Judge David Souter... on the basis that she can better empathize with minorities!
What ever happened to the expectation that Supreme Court judges impartially uphold the letter of the United States Constitution?!!! What ever happened to judges respecting blind justice?!!!
No doubt, on the Supreme Court we've had a fair share of the good justices, we've had quite a few bad justices, and we've certainly had more than enough ugly justices ... but this nomination is absolutely scandalous!
Obama said in 2007 after opposing President Bush's nominees to the Supreme Court: "We need somebody who's got the empathy to recognize what it's like to be a young teenaged mom...the empathy to understand what it's like to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled."
...and he wasn't kidding either!
Here's what Sonia Sotomayor had to say to a group of Duke Law students in 2005:
"All of the legal defense funds out there, they're looking for people with Court of Appeals experience. Because it is - Court of Appeals is where policy is made. And I know, and I know, that this is on tape, and I should never say that. Because we don't 'make law,' I know. Okay, I know. I know. I'm not promoting it, and I'm not advocating it. I'm, you know. Having said that, the Court of Appeals is where, before the Supreme Court makes the final decision, the law is percolating."
SAY WHAT?! The Court makes laws?! What ever happened to Congress?!
For decades we've had to endure activist judges making new laws through radical interpretations and ultra-leftist decisions...BUT NOW, Sotomayer has come right out and said it: "The Court is where policy is made."
Last time I checked, the U.S. Constitution stated clearly that Congress has the power:
"To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof."
FIGHT FOR TRUE JUSTICE! BLAST-FAX THE U.S. SENATE!
DEMAND A SOTOMAYOR DEFEAT!
But wait! There's more! Judge Sonia Sotomayor is so bold in her liberal agenda, she doesn't care how many times she declares it! Sotomayor was also quoted as having declared:
- "I further accept that our experiences as women and people of color affect our decisions. The aspiration to impartiality is just that."
- "Whether born from experience or inherent psychological or cultural differences...our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging."
- "Justice O'Connor has often been cited as saying that a wise old man and wise old woman will reach the same conclusion in deciding cases....I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."
If you've ever visited our nation's capital, you likely saw etched into the U.S. Supreme Court building the phrase: "Equal Justice Under Law"...
... but a Sotomayor appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court will turn that centuries-old principle on its head...and replace it with an egalitarian agenda of "Equality is Justice". Yes--regardless of the facts in a case--equal outcome is what's important!
The founders are surely rolling in their graves now!!!
Now that we've got you all riled up ... here's THE REAL KICKER:
Sonia Sotomayor has made no bones about her clearly racist intentions, BUT she also hasn't tried to hide her MEMBERSHIP IN THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF LA RAZA!!!
You'll recall from our previous research and headlines that La Raza ("the race") is the racist organization that advocates taking back the southwestern states for Mexico.
La Raza has and continues to fund and advocate national campaigns for:
- driver's licenses for illegal aliens
- amnesty programs
- limiting local and state law enforcement of immigration laws
It shouldn't come as a surprise then to read that La Raza's President and CEO, Janet Murguia, beamed about Judge Sotomayor's nomination:
"Today is a monumental day for Latinos. Finally, we see ourselves represented on the highest court in the land."
But you and I both know the Supreme Court isn't about "representation" ... it's about upholding justice and the United States Constitution.

P.S. Barack Obama's nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the U.S. Supreme Court is the most radical appointment in the HISTORY THE UNITED STATES! Sotomayor's racism is as obvious as the noses on our faces... and her membership in La Raza makes it plain and clear. We must inundate the U.S. Senate with demands that they stop this appointment dead in its tracks. BLAST FAX THE SENATE! CLICK HERE!
