The American Family Association is now sponsoring Independence Day tea parties in more than 640 U.S. cities in all 50 states.
The Taxed Enough Already, or TEA, parties will be held at 12 p.m. in front of city halls across the nation.
"Our goal is simply to keep the grassroots organizations mobilized," said Michael DePrimo, special counsel to AFA President Tim Wildmon. "We don't want people to think of it as a one-time event and then have it fall by the wayside."
AFA is hosting a Tea Party Day website so volunteer organizers may register their protests.
The group encourages tea party attendees to bring cell phones and call the president, 202-456-1414, and Congress, 202-224-3121, while attending the rallies.
DePrimo told WND the recent Tax Day protests were extremely popular and successful. A new poll reveals many Americans support beliefs of tax protest organizers.
According to a Zogby poll commissioned by the O'Leary Report that was released April 28, the survey of 3,937 voters in the last election shows a full 57.1 percent of respondents somewhat or strongly support beliefs of tea party organizers, while 39.3 percent somewhat or strongly opposed them.
The margin of error is +/-1.6 percent, according to Zogby.

Even 52.6 percent of respondents with no tax liability supported the tea party movement while only 41.8 percent did not. Of those with tax liability, 58 percent supported the protests while 39.4 percent did not.
Military service members and their families (60.7 percent expressed support) were more likely to support the core beliefs of tea party movement than their non-military peers (48.5 percent expressed support).
AFA lists hundreds of tea party organizers who are scheduled to coordinate the July 4 events, and it is adding more by the day. DePrimo said volunteers who do not see their location on the list should visit the Tea Party Day website to add their tea party information. The current list includes the following towns and cities:
