To celebrate his first 100 days in the White House, President Obama and the Democratic-controlled Congress paved the way for sweeping health-care, energy and education goals by approving his $3.4 trillion budget blueprint.
With passage, Obama and the Democrats showed their colors-- flatly rejecting the idea of free market principles and fiscal responsibility in favor of a statist approach!
And while I'm absolutely sickened by these first 100 days, my Capitol contacts are telling me that Democratic lawmakers are strategizing an all-out summer blitz on behalf of Obama's priorities--namely healthcare reform!

Following the vote, I've received a number of emails from team members who were disheartened by the events of the last few days--many even wondered if it was all hopeless!
To them I respond, "NO, it's not hopeless!"
This is the time for action. The time to hold those who supported this disastrous budget accountable.
That's why I'm moving rapidly to deliver 250,000 "Stop the Spending" petitions to key leaders in Congress later this week!
I want our lawmakers to know that a fast growing number of Americans are championing the voice of patriotic resistance.
I want them to know that we aren't going to be silenced, or bullied, but rather will continue holding them accountable.
I want them to know that we will continue educating and mobilizing citizens to stand for the principles that made our nation great!
That's why I'm appealing to you right now.
Over the next 48 hours, I want to be able to communicate to Congress that a record number of citizens are taking action, by signing our petition.
In fact, I'm hoping for an additional 30,000 signers!
I know it's a big number, but I believe the pay-off is even bigger--especially when we communicate that tens of thousands signed over the last few hours!
