From Iraq to Afghanistan to Palestine: Occupation is a Crime!

Various coalitions, organizations, and networks are joining together in a March 21 National Coalition to bring people from all walks of life and from all cities across the United States to take part in a March on the Pentagon on the sixth anniversary of the Iraq war: Saturday, March 21. (NEED A RIDE? GO TO: PentagonMarch.org)

More than 1,000 organizations and individuals have now endorsed the March 21, 2009, March on the Pentagon to say "Bring the Troops Home NOW!" on the sixth anniversary of the criminal invasion of Iraq.

The thousands who march will demand "From Iraq to Afghanistan to Palestine, Occupation is a Crime" and "We Need Jobs and Education, Not Wars and Occupation." They will insist on an end to the war threats and economic sanctions against Iran. They will say no to the illegal U.S. program of detention and torture.

Author's Bio: Whether you call it the world financial structure, the U.S. culture of waste, or the ability of the common man to make a decent living, the system is broken. It's time for the common man to go on strike. Join or support the March on Washingon 3/19-21/2009. About VoteStrike.com- VoteStrikers don't classify themselves with a label, but are engaged in what could be called "the people's sovereignty movement." They challenge the legitimacy of the US Supreme Court, or any other arm of government, "to bestow upon corporations the immense governing authority" implicit in the conferral of constitutional rights. They base this challenge on a solid founding principle; no governing entity may grant away the people's right to a functional republican form of government. They contend that excessive corporate power has undermined this basic right of the people. We the people have the power to take our country back and not wait for some politician to fix things. Not by rallies or protest but through simple non-compliance. About the author- I'm uneducated, my opinion means nothing but I know that I'm a real good dancer.
