A YouTube video [video at end of article] link has been passed to me via email from Helen M. Tills, a Patriot citizen who lived through the hard times of Victory Gardens, gasoline shortage, fear of losing freedom, watched News Reels about those fighting in Europe and the Pacific Theater to keep tyranny and oppression away from America’s shores after the initial attack upon American armed forces and civilians on the island of Hawaii. She also has seen how generation after generation have not appreciated what a great country they have and voters vote for popularity and faddish reasons rather than choosing candidates because of their character and their desire to make a difference – For the People.
Ms. Tills has seen our nation’s citizens turn into whining wimps, following leadership that is not for a representative democratic republic for which our nation was founded; but instead, a country of citizens who believe the media and the parasites in our government, from local to national, that the best for Americans is Big Government, instead of limited as the Constitution has set its rules. She has seen American society turn against age-old principles of conduct, and whether religious or not, thrown away all barriers of cultural morality.
Ms. Tills is a Christian, but bears no malice towards others that believe otherwise, or believe in no religion at all. Yet she has seen malice and bias towards her religion, and legislation that endangers traditions and icons of her religion as well as the principles that our country was founded. She has seen our schools being taught out of textbooks that alter history and insert the delusional ideology of Marxism and multiculturalism; weakening the spirit and patriotism that had been taught to her in her youth
Ms. Tills loves her children and her children’s children and does not want to see them or her fellow American patriots to fall under the thumb of tyranny and false promises of progressives that are determined to make the kind of change they shouldn’t look forward to; and she loves her country just as much.
I know this because Helen M. Tills is my aunt and a patriotic and loving person. She is the citizen sheep, but the core of what our country is about; and respects those that serve as sheepdogs against the wolves who would destroy free nations.
The moment you complain about government injustice and the outright corruption, especially when the liberals are in power, one immediately is tagged as "anti-government." Patriots are counter-revolutionists trying to prevent government from overthrowing the US Constitution and rewriting the Bill of Rights. The liberal Patriots stand by their government, but not the people who run it with waste, fraud, corruption and outside of constitutional law. Liberal-Progressives' view government, or rather those that run it, as the solution to all Americans problems - from "cradle to grave" - and are, without probably knowing it, anti-American. The importance of government has become exaggerated, mostly by the people who are running it.
Patriotism is loyalty to each other, citizens of a nation, standing united as one people, not a hodge-podge of multicultural entities, for America is a country of 50 united, yet separate states with a primary and common bond and of a people whose ancestry is as varied as the occupations they pursue. Those states are united by a common law, and that is the Constitution and its amendments.
The flag is the symbol of that patriotism, not a symbol of our government, but a symbol of the People – and thus it should be respected and guarded, just as the Constitution and its Bill of Rights, must be guarded against desecration and usurpation.
The following transcript is from the video that Ms. Tills passed the link to, the video follows the transcript, and which inspired me to get upon my soapbox. The video speaks Truth, and like Freedom, should never be altered …
We The People …
Dear President Obama:
“We The People” have stated resolutely we reject your vision for our country.
You claim you have not heard us.
“We The People” have assembled across America resisting your efforts to subvert our constitution and undermine our liberty.
You claim you have not seen us.
Since you have not acknowledged our message, let us here present it once more for if, as President Wilson said, a leader’s ear must ring with the voices of the people – the time has come.
Our greatest treasure is freedom – the absence of restraints on our ability to think and to act.
The corollary of freedom is individual responsibility.
We believe in the power of the individual.
A few years ago President Bush said, “History moves toward freedom because the desire for freedom is written in every human heart.”
Let us add that we will preserve it only as long as devotion to freedom is expressed in the heart of our actions.
When President Lincoln dedicated Gettysburg National Cemetery he declared, “It is for us the living … to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus so nobly advanced.”
That unfinished cause for which our soldiers willingly go to battle and for which so many have given their lives is a free United States of America
It has been nearly one hundred fifty years and the work President Lincoln spoke of is not finished.
In fact, that work will never be finished.
Freedom is the capacity of self determination.
It is not an entity but a condition, and conditions can change.
Freedom can expand yet so can it contract.
You promised change when you took office, Mr. President, but subjugation is not change we wanted or will accept.
You have expanded government, violated our constitution, confounded laws, seized private industry, destroyed jobs, perverted our economy, perverted our economy, curtailed free speech, corrupted our currency, weakened our national security, and endangered our sovereignty.
By compromising our nation’s cultural, legal and economic institutions, you are ensuring that our children will never achieve the same quality of life as we enjoy today.
Through generational theft you are robbing the unborn of opportunity.
This is not acceptable. Not in America.
We did not become a strong nation through hope but rather through self reliance.
No one better understands the relationship between individual achievement, dignity and strength than our armed forces.
Through every war our soldiers have held this nation’s destiny in their hands.
They have not failed us.
They cherish freedom enough that they are willing to die for it.
Our duty to them and to ourselves is to treasure freedom enough to live up to it.
We accept the challenge, Mr. President.
That is why we are assembling across the land to deliver our message to you as often and in every way we can.
Dismiss us at your political peril.
Our great nation is a Republic.
We will not accept tyranny under any guise.
By our honor, Mr. President, we vow forever to resist coercive government in America.
Patriots will not stand silent as you attempt to dismantle the greatest nation on earth.
We the People will defend our liberty, we will protect our beloved country, and America’s exceptionalism will prevail.
God Bless the United States of America!
Sincerely,
We The People

And this, the transcribed speech and what follows, is a declaration applies to the members (regardless of political party) of the US Congress, the US Supreme Court, elected members of the state and local governments, as well, the bias and corrupt media, educational and organizational institutions who would change our nation from a representative democratic republic to an American-version of a Marxist state.
It would reduce the whole instrument to a single phrase, that of instituting a Congress with power to do whatever would be for the good of the United States; and as they would be the sole judges of the good or evil, it would be also a power to do whatever evil they please. Certainly no such universal power was meant to be given them. It [the Constitution] was intended to lace them up straightly within the enumerated powers and those without which, as means, these powers could not be carried into effect. Thomas Jefferson, Opinion on a National Bank, 1791
Thanks, HM Tills, for passing this video’s link to me – and thanks for supporting the troops, standing by the principals that made our nation great, unashamed to believe in your chosen religion, and passing wisdom to a sometimes unappreciative generation that no longer believes in anything except self gratification and illusions of a Utopia falsely promised by usurpers of the Constitution and its amendments - parasites in our government and corrupted media entities.
