erica, the people have become so entrained, dominated, and molded into accepting its encumbering transmissions from cradle to grave -- that to use any other role model, would be a waste of needless expense and resources. Who knows, maybe the regular mafia at some point in their past, might very well have looked to the United States government for a little inspiration on how best to expand their enterprise.
It is hard to imagine a people more under the spell of big government than Americans, when every aspect of their life is controlled, dominated and directed by it, down to the most minute levels. . . from sea to shining sea. Along with this added benefit, for the more criminally minded among us, is the unquestioning nature of these people -- truly a pirates haven, for any jolly roger that might happen by. Yes sir, no sir, where do I sign sir, do you want me to roll up my left sleeve or my right sir, which department is the one I pay my property taxes at sir, any idea how long it will be before you let me know if I have been awarded the permit I filed for sir? Is it any wonder that the most successful criminal enterprises pick America to setup their operations at, when figuring the per unit neutering cost, and the fact that its already been paid for courtesy of the Federal Mafia, one can hardly go wrong with such a huge customer base and up front savings.
