LIFT UP A LIBERAL:
Instead of insulting them as I have been doing. After all, we are all Americans. Our brother or sister or mom or dad or best friend or neighbor next door is a Liberal.
Not all Liberals are 'goofy' or extremist. Isn't it just as easy to find some goofy or extremist Conservatives? Well, maybe not quite as easy, but you get my point.
We each get fooled, 'conned', at one time or another. Consider the betrayal of conservative principles by the Bush Administration. It might take years for Conservatives to overcome the damage done by RHINO'S, (Republicans in name only).
Consider Madoff, or rather the 80,000 wealthy individuals taken to the cleaners by him. Who wouda thunk it? Not just the loss of Billions, but imagine the emotional let down of those who believed him a friend.
Saying "I told you so" is oh so tempting, but not the right thing to do right now in my opinion. We can all get back to our 'scratching and clawing' political debates later can't we?
We take turns getting conned by somebody don't we? And its hard, hard to take and a little embarrassing too. At such times those who got conned most recently could use a friend rather than a smart ass. And so, I suggest we be ready, individually and collectively, as Americans, to lift up a Liberal.
