VOIP Phone Installs

Smaller Font Larger Font RSS 2.0

e been to and installed these phones, time and time again, the new Cisco phones installed cannot possibly hold up to security standards. When the internet goes down, so does the ability to communicate with the outside world, police in case of emergency or firefighters/paramedics...etc.

Also during several installs, there has been the security technician on site, that system is also being patched into the internet switches in each bank. They keep a t-1 line active as there internet source, it does have its own power source from the provider but t-1 lines drop as easily as cable and DSL.  I see an impending scenario here.  I seen it on the first install I did and it gets me each time I do them.  I used to work for many DSL company\'s during the .com erra.  I seen many layouts and colo cages in my day, I have had security clearance to work inside what once was Pacific Bells central offices while working for other company\'s. I know what I have seen is just one part of the banks ability to deny accountability if there was a breach in there security measures.  Also, there ATM rooms all have one of the new phones and internet access to that system installed on each machine.

Thank you for hearing me out, hope this information gives some sort of light to what the bush/reptiles in the white house  and the banking system might be doing.
