ATTACK ON US JUST GOT PERSONAL - HERE'S HOW

Earlier this week, I shared with you about a serious attack on our liberties in the form of a new lawsuit against Liberty Counsel that has been joined by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
As we have documented, SPLC is a dangerous organization intent on damaging and even destroying this ministry. SPLC falsely labeled Liberty Counsel and other pro-family groups as "hate" groups because we disagreed with their view of the LGBTQ agenda. Now, they have joined a major new lawsuit that takes their attacks to a whole new level with the clear goal of destroying Liberty Counsel.
But that's just the half of it.

As further proof that the intent of groups like SPLC and others is to destroy any organization or individual daring to stand up to their radical agenda, the new lawsuit joined by SPLC also names me and a Liberty Counsel affiliate attorney, Rena Lindevaldsen, personally.
Not only do these groups want to damage Liberty Counsel, they want to discredit and even destroy any individual Christian who stands up for biblical values in the midst of the new same-sex orthodoxy that is being pushed by the politically correct elite!
And let's be clear...
If they can damage Liberty Counsel... if they can succeed in attacking me personally... then every Christian who takes a stand for biblical values by challenging the new "same-sex" orthodoxy is a target!
That's why I must fight back and defeat this unfounded legal assault.
This week, Liberty Counsel launched our "Save Liberty" campaign to raise $100,000 in emergency "war chest" funds to fight this and other critical legal battles. Many friends have stepped forward to help, but as of this morning, we are still far short of our goal.

Making this battle even more difficult is that we're facing organizations with millions in their cash reserves that can be used for this attack! We have chronicled how the ACLU has raised tens of millions of dollars in the past few months (including $24 million in one weekend!). And SPLC's public records show hundreds of millions of dollars in their reserves.
We depend on the generosity of friends like you to fight battles like this. And we simply must turn back this attack. If we allow the SPLC and other radical groups to impose crippling penalties on Liberty Counsel and other Christ-centered organizations, they will have succeeded in silencing our voice and the voices of all the people of faith in our society!
