Media Completely Obsessed with Trump Wiretapping Tweet

It’s a gross understatement to say that President Trump got the media’s attention with his Tweet on Saturday about alleged wiretapping of the Trump campaign by the Obama administration. According to a brand new study by the MRC’s Rich Noyes and Mike Ciandella, since Saturday, the morning and evening news broadcasts on ABC, CBS, and NBC have spent a whopping 107 minutes and 33 seconds attacking Trump’s claim that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower.
This coverage stands in stark contrast to the virtual blackout of news reports from previous weeks suggesting the Obama Administration did initiate surveillance of the Trump team. On January 19, the day before Obama’s last day in office, the New York Times reported as fact that the government was looking at “intercepted communications” between the Trump team and Russian officials. Only CBS covered this report by the Times, and they only covered it for 13 seconds!
