The bias in the liberal media has never been more blatant than during this 2016 presidential election.

Perhaps the worst, most vile, most biased news outlet (aside from cable channel CNN and online blog Huffington Post) is the slowly dying newspaper giant The New York Times. They have openly attacked Donald Trump, largely out of fear of what a Trump administration could do.

We discussed yesterday how they released illegally obtained tax documents from 1995, which suggest that Donald Trump has avoided paying taxes over the course of a few years. Although this was all done legally, via a tax loophole which can be fixed, the Times wants you to believe that Trump’s the crook.

Federal law is very strict about the disclosure of tax documents. Trump has not released his tax documents yet. However the Times got their hands on these particular documents, they did so illegally. We suggested this was a part of a larger scheme on the part of the IRS, who has been accused of going after conservative groups illegally.

Now we have more evidence that the Times will pay, criminally.

The New York Times executive editor said during a visit to Harvard in September that he would risk jail to publish Donald Trump’s tax returns. He made good on his word Saturday night when the Times published Trump tax documents from 1995, which show the Republican presidential nominee claimed losses of $916 million that year — enough to avoid paying federal income taxes for as many as 18 years afterward.

The New York Times cannot use the First Amendment and freedom of the press to excuse violating the law. It doesn’t work that way. I noted that they would not publish information on Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, but they were more than willing to publish Trump’s tax returns. They seem selective in their righteous indignation here.

The gross bias within in the New York Times has never been more clear. They broke a litany of laws to obtain those tax documents, then release them, just to find a way to attack the Republican nominee for president.

Yet Hillary Clinton has at least three legitimate criminal scandals going on right now and the Times are silent. She lied under oath about an illegal email server, which she used to send messages concerning her Foundation gathering bribes while she was secretary of state, then deleted 33,000 emails after the FBI requested access. That is a scandal on top of a scandal, on top of another scandal.

And that doesn’t even cover the DNC conspiracy against Bernie Sanders and her lying about her health.

Yet Trump is the villain in this election?

Any honest, legitimate journalist would be all over Hillary Clinton’s history of wrong-doing. Yet the Times proves they are not made up of honest journalists, but a hive of complicit, biased, corrupt hacks.

Sending their editor-in-chief to jail is just the start. Trump should sue and bring this dead, lumbering corpse to its knees.

We as Americans deserve better than the New York Times. Perhaps it’s time they learned that.
