CNN is Officially Dead As Viewers Disappear
CNN fell to fourth place in the 25-54 demo in primetime Monday night, behind Fox News, MSNBC and HLN. The network averaged just 99K viewers while Fox led with 373K, followed by MSNBC with 162K and HLN with 109K.
Anderson Cooper 360′s 8 p.m. broadcast was the highest rated show for CNN in the demo with 125K. The second hour of that show at 9 p.m. dropped to 94K and CNN Tonight fell even further to 79K. By contrast, The O’Reilly Factor was #1 in the demo on Fox with 384K viewers.
In total viewers, CNN came in third place in primetime with 377K, behind Fox (2.169M) and MSNBC (655K) but ahead of HLN (269K).
