Why are all the American presidential candidates Pro-Israel?
Has there ever been a candidate that was Pro-Palestine? I read that Hilary Clinton said they will obliterate Iran if they nuke Israel. Why do they care so much about Israel? It has the best weapons and military, and yet America is so protective of it. Isn't Palestine the one that needs the support? If a candidate supports Palestine, does that mean they will never get a chance of running?
Best Answer: It is called the politics of lobbying. The Israeli lobby is one of the most influential lobby in Washington. The Israeli lobby is found at every level of the American politics: Political Parties, Media. Unions, movie making, Zionist Christians and so on.
Average Americans are not well informed about the Israeli/Palestinian issues and believe what they hear or read in the media which tend to be on the Israeli side.
