Ramallah- France Press reported that Israel, today, declared its refusal to the French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s suggestion to give “Observation state” status to Palestine at the UN.

Image A spokesman from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs told France Press, “Apparently it seems to be a good idea but practically it’s not. It’s impossible to ignore some stages before giving the Palestinians a “state” no matter what its name was. There will be no Palestinian state without an agreement with Israel.”

He also added that there’s no way to talk about this issue as if Israel wasn’t already existing.
