Here is an outstanding film, in 4 parts, of Lindbergh's flight from Roosevelt Field, Long Island, N.Y on May 20, 1927. When viewing the parts, there will be printed scripts to read. To stop the film and read the scripts, press the left mouse button and the film will stop. When finished reading the script, press the left mouse button again and the film will continue. When the film first starts, you will see a picture of the instrument panel with the 1,2,3,&4 parts in the window. Then just click on the part you want to see. When a part is finished place the cursor on the return arrow up in the left corner and you will return to the Instrument panel. This is an historical film and I know you will enjoy it.

Win Perkins, a real estate appraiser who specializes in airport properties, posted on his Web site the video he created of Charles Lindbergh's famous and risky takeoff in the Spirit of St. Louis.   According to Perkins, this is unlike any other presentation of the takeoff footage. Perkins said he "painstakingly assembled news footage from five cameras that filmed Lindbergh's takeoff from Roosevelt Field, Long Island" and "mixed it with enhanced audio from the same newsreel sources."

What guts it took for Lindbergh to overcome the odds against him and accomplish this amazing feat.
