McCloskeys Steal the Show at RNC
Certain Republicans seem to have forgotten what party they belong to in the midst of all the chaos and rioting – like UN Ambassador and barely-closeted Never-Trumper Nikki Haley. Haley said the death of George Floyd should be made “personal and painful” for everyone. The GOP’s decision to host Mark and Patricia McCloskey as speakers at the recent Convention was a testimony.
Readers will recall the McCloskeys were threatened by a mob of Biden voters and drove the horde away by exercising their Second Amendment right to bear arms on their own property. The Antifa thugs wanted to make things “personal and painful” for the McCloskeys; fortunately, these two American citizens remembered, and reminded us all, what it means to be American. They used their rights as American citizens guaranteed in our Constitution to prevent themselves from being victimized by the Left.
It is a testimony to where America is today that these two ordinary Americans merely exercising their rights guaranteed to them as Americans are being celebrated as heroes. Never before have Americans’ rights been so threatened as right now, as the mobs of Biden voters attempt to burn the country down in order to prevent ordinary Americans from running their own country again.
Mark McCloskey warned Americans of something we’ve been saying here at TTN for a few weeks: “The radicals… want to walk the halls of Congress. They want power. This is Joe Biden’s party. These are the people who will be in charge of your future and the future of your children.”
It’s a warning that desperately needs to be said and that most Trump supporters are ready to hear. Our democracy is seriously threatened right now by some of the most insidious enemies the American people have ever faced, from the Media Cartels to Antifa terrorists to the Democrat Party that directs them both.
The McCloskeys are ordinary Americans, wealthy to be sure, but ordinary professional Americans nevertheless, who stared down that threat and made it blink – other ordinary Americans, no matter their background or economic status, can do the same. That’s the message of the Trump presidency.
