Hi Patrick,

I just read your posting "Hello, central! Cancer - revisited!, and I thought the following youtube video might interest some people. David Wolfe Presents CHAGA: King of the Medicinal Mushrooms ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkMf5kO9Wpw

I for myself have tried the wild one and the cultivated one. The wild chaga is definitely more powerful as D. Wolfe is explaining it in his book. And in coherence with what you explained about the relation between the pH and the strategy to get rid of such a toxic fongi as the candida, the chaga has not only one alkaline precursor mineral but three according to D. Wolfe, i.e. cesium (the good one, I mean not the radioactive one), rubidium and potassium. And there are other strong agents provided by the chaga for supporting the immune system of a human. The video is will explain them better than I could.
