Do you know that the Dietrary Supplement, Health and Education Act (DSHEA) - the federal law that gives you access to dietary supplements without a doctor's prescription - is under constant survelliance and attack by forces that want supplements to be regulated as drugs? Did you know that the American Medical Association claims that most Americans want greater government regulation of dietary supplements? Did you know that one major media outlet has called for revision of DSHEA as "ill-conceived legislation?" Have you considered that only half of those who were in the U.S. Congress in 1994 when DSHEA was unanimously passed remain in office today? That number is likely to drop further in less than 6 months.
Do you deserve a thorough and unbiased report about DSHEA adn the ongoing risks to dietary supplements? We think you do, and we're going to do something about it. Citizens For Health is commissioning a white paper to be published before the upcoming elections, to help keep you informed.

Just to confirm that there's no shortage of needed effort to rein in the FDA, The American Association for Health Freedom (AAHF) is promoting a general petition to reform the FDA.
