Dr. Mattman has also recently had the state police arrive at her lab with handcuffs, searching for evidence that she was still doing this work. Luckily, they did not find the evidence they were looking for.
Dr. Mattman is unable to continue on with her life's work and so she is saying goodbye to her laboratory. This is a loss for both the world of science and for the country. All of America should shed a collective tear on Tuesday.
