A video in quick time shows a doctor in Switzerland practicing putting on biosecurity level 3 protective gear (no respirator) for Ebola.

The video circled in red on the screenshot below shows the complicated process involved in putting on protective gear, which took 12 minutes in real time in this video.
And remember, putting on the gear is the really easy part. Taking it off without an infection is the hard part and requires two technicians, one continuously spraying disinfect.
Because the gear causes dehydration, no one should be in it for much longer than two hours. Concentration lapses due to dehydration and fatigue when taking off the gear can lead to tiny but fatal mistakes. That is why a second technicians is required to give constant reminders.
Hospital staff, military, law enforcement, emergency responders who are not getting this kind of training and equipment, should refuse to have anything to do with an Ebola environment.
US military and National Guard, who are not trained to at least this level, should refuse deployment to Liberia. No one is doing their country, family or unit any favours, if they get infected and infect others – simply because they have not been trained and equipped by the government to stay safe in an Ebola environment.
The Duncan case shows Ebola is not easily transmissible and is being spread in the USA only through the absence of protective gear among front line staff and lapses in biosecurity institutionalized by faulty CDC advice and protocols, faulty contact tracing and faulty quarantine and isolation rules.
