Trump just made a big move for seniors – and Warren can’t stand it!

Trump says he cares for seniors – and today he’s putting his words into action.

Many have questioned if he would make major improvements to senior entitlements and healthcare.

Well, the wait is over. Trump is making some major improvements—

And he’s getting a major dig in at his 2020 opponents while he does it!

He’s signing an executive order to greatly improve Medicare, and he was met with cheers from a crowd of seniors.

From NPR:

“In my campaign for president, I made you a sacred pledge that I would strengthen, protect and defend Medicare for all of our senior citizens,” Trump told the audience. “Today I’ll sign a very historic executive order that does exactly that — we are making your Medicare even better, and … it will never be taken away from you. We’re not letting anyone get close.”

The crowd responded to his announcement with standing ovations.

But what exactly is he improving?

The order is intended, in part, to shore up Medicare Advantage, an alternative to traditional Medicare that’s administered by private insurers. That program has been growing in popularity, and this year, premiums are down and plan choices are up.

So Trump is making the private market’s better quality care with more choice and less cost more available? Sounds like a win to me!

But it was bad, bad news to the new Democrat frontrunner and big Medicare-for-All propnent Elizabeth Warren. Trump called them all out:

“Every major Democrat in Washington has backed a massive government health care takeover that would totally obliterate Medicare,” he said…They want to raid Medicare to fund a thing called socialism.”

And that’s exactly what they’re calling for. They want to take a popular program that’s working and dump everyone into, effectively destroying what has helped so many seniors.

Then your costs would go up and your quality of care would go down. And Americans would foot the bill, with some estimates as high as $30 trillion.

What do you think Americans will choose: cutting waste and strengthening Medicare for seniors, or socialist Medicare-for-All?

That will be up to you, the American voter, but you can make your voice heard now.
