Is child pornography and pedophilia receiving secret protection from government and police officials in Canada?

More evidence is indicating so, after the recent media exposure of an international child sex ring revealed that Canada has the lowest rate of apprehension and conviction of pedophiles and child porn users of any major country: as little as 5%.

In the same media coverage, police officials in Ontario publicly protested the constant indifference and underfunding of their investigations by Canadian governments.

This is not surprising to those of us who have documented pedophile rings across Canada. The notorious Cornwall, Ontario pedophile ring involving Catholic priests and businessmen was deliberately concealed for years by top police and government officials in league with the Vatican's Ambassador to Canada, according to a CBC documentary aired in 1999.

According to Perry Dunlop, the Cornwall policeman who was fired and blacklisted for blowing the whistle on this official cover-up, the child sex industry is deeply entrenched across Canada and has unofficial protection "at the highest levels of power".

All of this agrees with the information our network has gathered since June, 1998, when reports of alleged native pedophile rings operating in British Columbia were shared by eyewitnesses at a United Nations - affiliated Tribunal held in Vancouver (Globe and Mail, June 20, 1998).

At this Tribunal, senior judges, RCMP officials, native politicians and lawyers in Vancouver were named as being involved in the sexual exploitation of small children. A previous attempt to bring these alleged perpetrators to court in April, 1994 was scuttled after the prosecuting attorneys were disbarred on trumped-up charges and involuntarily hospitalized, and witnesses unexplainably disappeared.

The same alleged perpetrators named in this lawsuit and at the 1998 Tribunal have recently brought legal action against me and others to try to silence those of us who have continued to investigate the evidence that pedophiles in B.C. may be receiving government and police protection as part of the international criminal network described in the media.

Astoundingly, the legal bill of one of these alleged perpetrators has even been paid for by two consecutive governments in British Columbia, both the NDP and Liberals. This collusion by the government with an alleged pedophile has gone on since November 2000, when the alleged perpetrator was appointed to the provincial cabinet of Ujjal Dosanjh as Minister for Children and Families!

Since the United Nations has recently redefined "Crimes Against Humanity" as including "acts of sexual terrorism, rape and pedophilia", it is beholden on all parents and citizens to expose and confront the dangers to our children posed by predators who are protected and abetted by those in power.

We urge readers to support our call for an International Tribunal to investigate this evidence of state-sanctioned and judicially-protected pedophilia in Canada.
