Typical War On Terror Detainee is Innocent and Abused

TORTURE CLAIMS: Binyam Mohamed, a London Janitor, the man held at Guantanamo after reading a satirical website, which 'teaches' its readers how to build a nuclear bomb.
The War on Terror is a farce and scores of innocent civilians, such as Binyam Mohamed, have not only been the victim of rendition but have been illegally tortured so that Blair and Bush could wage their illegal war and occupation of Iraq : Allen L Roland
Binyam Mohamed is a typical Guantanamo War On Terror detainee who is not only innocent but is being blatantly used to justify a false war on terror and there are many more like him.

" A British ‘resident’ held at Guantanamo Bay was identified as a terrorist after confessing he had visited a ‘joke’ website on how to build a nuclear weapon, it was revealed last night.
Binyam Mohamed, a former UK asylum seeker, admitted to having read the ‘instructions’ after allegedly being beaten, hung up by his wrists for a week and having a gun held to his head in a Pakistani jail.
It was this confession that apparently convinced the CIA that they were holding a top Al Qaeda terrorist.
Here's the instructions that Binyam finally confessed to ~
" The recipe is highly detailed and plainly ridiculous. The prospective bomb maker is instructed to transform uranium gas into liquid by ‘subjecting it to pressure’, adding: ‘You can use a bicycle pump for this.’
The instructions continue: ‘Then make a simple home centrifuge. Fill a standard-size bucket one-quarter full of liquid uranium hexafluoride.
‘Attach a 6ft rope to the bucket handle. Now swing the rope (and attached bucket) around your head as fast as possible. Keep this up for about 45 minutes.
‘Slow down gradually, and very gently put the bucket on the floor. The U-235 ~ a uranium isotope which can be used to cause an explosive chain reaction ~ will have risen to the top, where it can be skimmed off like cream. Repeat this step until you have the required 10 lb of uranium.’ Allen's note ( Are you kidding me ! ) I am speculating but I think this news was sent up the line to the White House, which is when the paranoia kicked in. They authorized the “enhanced interrogation techniques” against Binyam, including the rendition. This is how they made their
huge mistake, thinking he was a major terrorist as opposed to a London janitor.
‘It explains why they took a nobody and subjected him to the worst torture of any US prisoner in the past seven years.’"
The Bush Administration asked that Britain not release documents about Mohamed’s mistreatment for fear of incrimination. But it wasn’t just a request from Bush. It was a threat ~ and guess what ~ Now Obama, who has signed executive orders against torture and extraordinary rendition and who has vowed to improve relations with other countries, is simply following the Bush script. On Wednesday, the British high court refused to release the documents, saying that Obama’s “position remains the same” as Bush’s.
The ACLU is not happy about this. “Hope is flickering,” said Anthony Romero, executive director of the ACLU. “The Obama Administration’s position is not change. It is more of the same. This represents a complete turn-around and undermining of the restoration of the rule of law.” Romero added: “The latest revelation is completely at odds with President Obama’s executive orders that ban torture and end rendition, as well as his promise to restore the rule of law. . .The policies of the Bush Administration have come back to haunt America.” http://informationclearinghouse.info/article21936.htm We must hold Obama's feet to the fire regarding illegal rendition and torture.
