"Win the Vote, End the War"

There are three things that I want the world to know about the Sanders-Lee resolution, SJRes 54, to end U.S. participation in the catastrophic Saudi war in Yemen.
- Our roll call floor vote in the Senate is guaranteed. We expect it to happen next week.
- Because of the 47 votes in the Senate in June 2017 against continuing to arm Saudi Arabia's catastrophic war in Yemen, this is a "winnable fight." We have a plausible path to victory.
- If we win the vote, the world will change. "Change utterly." If we don't end the war immediately, we will put ourselves on a "glide path" to ending the war.
Because I want the world to know these three things, I submitted an op-ed yesterday to U.S. News, which they published this morning.
