Despite Leftist Media Claims, El Paso Shooter Is One of Them

Though Left-wing media — mainstream and otherwise — have portrayed Patrick Crusius (shown), the cowardly, hate-filled shooter in the El Paso massacre, as a “Right-winger,” the reality is that his manifesto (which the Left-wing media refuse to publish, while selectively quoting) shows that he was clearly motivated by Left-wing ideology.

In other words, the Left caused the shooting and then blamed it on the Right.

Examples of Leftist media blaming the shooting on Right-wing ideology are legion.

For instance, CrooksAndLiars, a liberal “news” site, claimed in an August 5 headline that “El Paso Shooter's Manifesto Uses Trump And Right Wing Talking Points” and includes such calumnies as, “his ‘manifesto’ hate screed is filled with talking points and terminology used by Donald Trump at his Nazi MAGA rallies and FOX News hosts like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity.” Now, that is a broad brush indeed. And despite its extreme breadth, it still managed to hit the wrong target while skillfully avoiding the correct one. In case their readers are so dull as to miss the point of the article, the writer of that erroneous piece ended with, “The only way to try to pull us back from the brink of a straight up civil war is stricter gun control laws and to vote Donald Trump out. He is the cancer. He is the tumor. He is the sickness infecting our country.”

Left-leaning Slate echoed that error, in an article equating the El Paso shooter — and many other recent Left-wing shooters — with the Right. The headline, which was about as accurate as it was subtle, claimed, “Right-Wingers Are America’s Deadliest Terrorists.” Claiming that “right-wing terrorists have killed more people on U.S. soil than jihadis have since 9/11,” the article runs the gamut from the outrageous to the ridiculous.

Leaving behind anything resembling accuracy and research, Business Insider had the audacity to report on a “study” claiming “all of the extremist killings in the US in 2018 had links to right-wing extremism.

” The cited “study” is from the Left-leaning and self-serving Anti-Defamation League. Perhaps someone should tell the folks over at the Anti-Defamation League that spouting fake claims while painting every recent mass shooting as “Right-wing” is itself defamation. The irony is likely deliberate, though; It appears that rather than merely being mistaken, they are instead full of the stuff male bovines leave behind.

Because as with the Christchurch shooter, the manifesto written by Crusius shows that his ideology is actually that of the Left, not the Right.

He begins by stating, “I support the Christchurch shooter and his manifesto.” Amongst his grievances, Crusius cites the “takeover of the United States government by unchecked corporations.” Reality check: Is that language and sentiment from the conservative Right or from the liberal Left? He could have — and may have — borrowed that claim from any of a plethora of speeches by that darling-of-the-Left, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

Furthermore, Crusius goes on to decry the evils of pro-corrporatism, writing, “Procorporation = pro-immigration” before going on to attack America itself as a blight on the environment:.

Of course these migrants and their children have contributed to the problem, but are not the sole cause of it.

The American lifestyle affords our citizens an incredible quality of life. However, our lifestyle is destroying the environment of our country. The decimation of the environment is creating a massive burden for future generations. Corporations are heading the destruction of our environment by shamelessly overharvesting resources. This has been a problem for decades. For example, this phenomenon is brilliantly portrayed in the decades old classic “The Lorax”. Water sheds around the country, especially in agricultural areas, are being depleted. Fresh water is being polluted from farming and oil drilling operations.

Consumer culture is creating thousands of tons of unnecessary plastic waste and electronic waste, and recycling to help slow this down is almost non-existent.

Urban sprawl creates inefficient cities which unnecessarily destroys millions of acres of land. We even use god knows how many trees worth of paper towels just wipe water off our hands. Everything I have seen and heard in my short life has led me to believe that the average American isn’t willing to change their lifestyle, even if the changes only cause a slight inconvenience. The government is unwilling to tackle these issues beyond empty promises since they are owned by corporations. Corporations that also like immigration because more people means a bigger market for their products. I just want to say that I love the people of this country, but g*d d**n most of y’all are just too stubborn to change your lifestyle. So the next logical step is to decrease the number of people in America using resources. If we can get rid of enough people, then our way of life can become more sustainable.

He goes on to say that perhaps his massacre of immigrants will serve as “the right incentive” for “the Hispanic population” to “return to their home countries” and ameliorate the extra burden they place on the environment.

So, the primary ideology that seems to drive his hatred of immigration is his underlying assumption that overpopulation is damaging the environment and limiting resources.

Again, does this sound like the Right or the Left? In fact, if this writer may be so bold as to state the obvious — even if that statement leads to discomfort — if the assumptions of the Left (that there is no God, that the environment is strained and natural resources are limited and running out, that overpopulation is the “big problem” of our era, that corporations are destroying the world) are correct, his solution would at least make sense. After all, if there is no God — and therefore, no objective standard of right and wrong — then his massacre of immigrants in an effort to protect limited resources for natives cannot be called wrong. It may — in that twisted view — even be considered virtuous.

But rather than face the fact that their ideology is to blame — that their chickens have come home to roost — the Left is doubling down and using this unjustifiable, inexcusable tragedy as a club with which to attack the Right.

How many more twisted minds will the Left radicalize and turn loose on America only to blame the very people who do believe in God, in right and wrong, in hard work and enterprise, in honest values, for the fallout when those twisted, radicalized minions of the Left wreak havoc on innocent victims en masse?

If America truly is to survive the likes of the El Paso shooter and others before (and likely after) him, it will be by standing up against the lies that actually led him to his actions. And those lies come from the Left.

Inside the dark thoughts and far-left leanings of Dayton shooter Connor Betts

This article was sourced from NYpost

Dayton killer Connor Betts’ online footprint provided a glimpse Tuesday into his dark thoughts and far-left political leanings — even as investigators worked to pin down a concrete motive for the massacre.

“Millenials have a message for the Joe Biden generation: hurry up and die,” read a message retweeted hours before the shooting by Twitter account @iamthespookster, believed to have belonged to Betts.

The account, yanked offline in the wake of the early Sunday bloodbath, included multiple selfies that strongly resemble the 24-year-old, and a bio section that reflected what few details have emerged of his personal life, including “he/him / anime fan / metalhead / leftist.

It’s capped with a dire declaration: “I’m going to hell and I’m not coming back.”

The account fired off thousands of messages — including some supporting presidential hopeful senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, and the sometimes violent Antifa, or anti-fascist, movement — since it was created in 2013, according to The Washington Post, which snagged over 3,000 of the tweets before the page was pulled.

They include embraces of far-left stances and politicians — including presidential-hopeful senators Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders of Vermont — as well as the Antifa, or anti-fascist, protesters, sometimes known to resort to violent tactics.

“I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding,” reads one tweet from the account, according to Newsweek.

The account retweeted posts blasting federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents as “monsters,” and referring to migrant detention centers along the southern border as “concentration camps” — echoing language recently used by firebrand New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

“Cut the fences down.

Slice ICE tires. Throw bolt cutters over the fences,” reads one message, encouraging people to actively resist the crackdown on illegal immigrants.

“Losing your personal information in a massive data breach is just a thing that happens now, like 110 degree days and regular mass shootings,” reads another message.

Yet another missive, at odds with the Twitter account’s stream of standard far-left talking points, encourages people to arm themselves.

“buy a gun and learn to use it responsibly,” it reads. “you may need to protect yourself.”

Betts’ attack came only about 13 hours after Patrick Crusius, 21, allegedly slaughtered 22 people in an El Paso, Texas Walmart, apparently motivated by far-right ideals, including a hatred of Hispanic immigrants.

Masked and body armor-clad, Betts opened fire on a popular Dayton nightlife district using an AR-15-style rifle around 1:05 a.m. Sunday.

He fatally shot nine fleeing innocents — including his 22-year-old sister, Megan — and wounded 14 more with gunfire before he was killed by police, just 30 seconds after his attack began.

Investigators said Tuesday that Betts embraced “very specific ideologies” ahead of his rampage, but refused to elaborate on the exact nature of those beliefs, stressing that the probe is in its infancy.

The onslaught was the culmination of years of troubling red flags, according to two of Betts’ former girlfriends.

“He would cry to me sometimes,” high-school love interest Lyndsi Doll told The Washington Post. “How he’s afraid of himself and afraid he was going to hurt someone one day. It’s haunting now.”

Caitlyn ‘Adelia’ Johnson, who went out with Betts from March through May, said that on their very first date he showed off his seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of mass shootings from across the country.

“Do you know tragedies from every city?” Johnson recalled texting Betts after he showed her footage of the slaughter at Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Synagogue on their very first night out.

Betts admitted he knew “a fair bit of them,” a skill he played off as “totally normal,” Johnson told The Toledo Blade.

“That man who was so sweet to me and told me he loved me was a mass murderer,” wrote Johnson in a post on Medium. “I kissed a mass murderer.”

Parents of Dayton shooter break silence, offer ‘heartfelt prayers’

This article was sourced from NYpost

The parents of Dayton gunman Connor Betts broke their silence in a statement Tuesday night, sending prayers to the victims and their families, but offering no clues into a possible motive for their son’s mass shooting that left nine dead.

“The Betts family is shocked and devastated by the events of Sunday morning in the Oregon District,” the family said through a prepared statement.

“They offer their most heartfelt prayers and condolences to all of the victims, their families and friends.

The statement was delivered near the Betts’ Ohio home by Bellbrook Chief of Police Doug Doherty, who’s been the family’s de facto spokesperson since their 24-year-old son’s attack in Dayton’s nightlife district.

Without addressing a motive, the statement ended: “They ask that everyone respect the family’s privacy in order to mourn the loss of their son and daughter and to process the horror of Sunday’s events.”

Betts’ first victim was his 22-year-old sister, Megan. Masked and clad in a bulletproof vest, he used an AR-15 style rifle to unleash least 41 rounds in 30 seconds on the busy bar-lined street.

The slaughter left 27 others wounded, 14 of whom were hit by bullets. The others were either trampled while fleeing, or suffered lacerations.

Police have not released an official motive for the shooting.

But it was revealed by the FBI on Tuesday that Betts fell under the sway of “violent ideologies” and had an obsession with mayhem.

Other red flags about Betts’ history have also emerged, including him boasting of his knowledge of mass shootings to an ex-girlfriend, and holding a gun to the head of a former friend months before the attack.
