Queens man who trained with Al QaedaAdis Medunjanin, was informant for feds: prosecutors
After he was arrested two weeks ago, Adis Medunjanin blabbed to the FBI about the "terrorist-related activities of himself and others in the United States and Pakistan," Assistant Brooklyn U.S. Attorney James Loonam wrote in a letter.
Medunjanin had been under surveillance since the fall arrest of his pal Najibullah Zazi, suspected of a subway bomb plot.
Both men allegedly got military-type training at a terror camp in Pakistan in 2008.
Whatever information Medunjanin coughed up could be crucial to the bomb plot probe, short-circuited when an NYPD informant tipped off Zazi.
Defense lawyer Robert Gottlieb said Loonam's letter confirms his client was illegally questioned and the statement should be surpressed.
