IRAN REPORTS US AIRCRAFT CARRIER NEAR THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ

(AGI) Tehran - A US aircraft carrier has entered the 'hot' zone close to the Strait of Hormuz between Oman and Iran. The Iranian fleet has been conducting naval exercises in the transit zone for over a third of the world's oil supplies since 24 December. Iranian sources reported the ship's arrival at a time of rising tension due to Tehran's threat to close the strait. . .
