Sheila Jackson Lee’s gun control Trojan horse

We don’t have much time.

Less than a week after Nancy Pelosi’s House of Representatives passed two major pieces of gun control, H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446, Democrats are coming back hungry for more anti-gun filth.

Notorious gun-grabber Representative Sheila Jackson Lee just introduced H.R. 1620, the Violence Against Women Act 2021, also known as “VAWA.”

I wish I could tell you this is a friendly bill, but Sheila Jackson Lee never lets an opportunity to introduce gun control go to waste.

This time around, VAWA has been stuffed with “Red Flag”-style gun control.

And I have more bad news -- the House of Representatives will be voting on H.R. 1620 TOMORROW.

Call Representative Dusty Johnson now at (202) 225-2801 and tell them to vote NO on H.R. 1620.

If that phone number doesn’t work, call the House of Representatives switchboard number at (202) 224-3121.

Of course this isn’t the first time the gun grabbers have hijacked VAWA and injected it with gun control.

In fact, they did the exact same thing in 2019.

We put a stop to it in the U.S. Senate, but that was when we had a Republican majority -- which is why we need you to call your Representative and make sure they stand against the gun grabbers.

This bill would expand upon the already existing legislation that was passed in 1994 by none other than, Joe Biden.

Among its blatant infringements on the Second Amendment are provisions that would:

*** Strip scores of women of their right to own a firearm for life if their violent ex-spouse accuses them of being a stalker, even if charges are never filed.

*** Incite local SWAT teams to hunt down and arrest law-abiding gun owners who try to purchase a firearm without knowing they’ve been erroneously or unconstitutionally placed on the federal government’s “no guns” list.

To be frank, H.R. 1620 does more to cause violence against women than it does to protect them.

I’d hope that every House of Representatives Republican would be smart enough to OPPOSE any bill that strips any law-abiding American of their rights to self-defense...

...Especially vulnerable women trying to protect themselves and their children from attackers.

But under Nancy Pelosi’s dictatorship, more weak-kneed republicans might just join the gun confiscators.

In fact, two republicans have already signed on to co-sponsor this bill -- Representative Brian Fitzpatrick and Representative Michael McCaul.

We can’t let any more Republicans support this anti-Second Amendment bill.

Your National Association for Gun Rights believes the best way to protect women, or any vulnerable population, is to ensure greater access to tools to defend themselves with -- I am sure you agree.

Call Representative Dusty Johnson now at (202) 225-2801 and tell them to vote NO on H.R. 1620.

Once you’ve done that, please consider chipping in $25 to help fight against gun-grabbing legislation.
