Fight terrorism by repealing gun laws. Retweet

Media Alert: Today, Friday (11/20), Tuesday (11/24), and Wednesday (11/25), Jim Babka guest-hosts the Gary Nolan Show. It airs from 9 AM to Noon Central time, in Columbia and Jefferson City, MO. But you can listen at http://theeagle939.com/ — click on “Listen Live,” on the top right side of the page.

Terrorism and guns laws are connected. I sent Congress a message about this using Downsize DC’s "Repeal federal gun regulations" campaign. The hardwired message for that campaign reads...

Repeal federal gun regulations.

You can copy or edit the following sample letter for your personal comments...

Please notice what most terror attacks have in common -- they take place in gun free zones. In the latest example (Paris) the entire country is a gun free zone, except that the terrorists ignored French gun laws. The same has been true with nearly all other attacks.

Ronald K. Noble, the Secretary General of Interpol, made the correct diagnosis back in 2013. He said that we’re either going to have to turn all soft targets into hard targets, or we’re going to have to let citizens arm themselves. http://bit.ly/1PCvNTo

The first option -- turning everything into a hard target -- is too expensive. Literally, that means security guards and equipment anywhere people assemble. That approach would also destroy our way of life. Both burdensome cost and destroying our way of life would be major victories for the terrorists.

By comparison, the second option -- allowing soft targets to arm -- is easy. It also conforms to the Constitution. Please understand...

Gun prohibition doesn’t work, anymore than alcohol or drug prohibition have worked. Your war on terror hasn’t worked either. Give us something that will work. Repeal all federal gun laws.
