White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham will be taking a step back from her role and a replacement has already stepped forward, her name is Kayleigh McEnany. Kayleigh McEnany has been a solid force in the Trump Campaign and this move solidifies an expected shift from the campaign side of Trump world to the policy side. For the past few months, McEnany has been working hard to help get the President a good chance at reelection.

Kayleigh McEnany has worked for another President before Trump. She was an intern at the White House while George W. Bush was President and was eventually hired to work on his campaign. She has the experience to help this President no matter what comes out of the general election.

McEnany worked as a CNN political pundit for some time and this puts her in a bit of an odd spot with the President's troubled relationship with the media giant. While she was there she served as a conservative political pundit so it really isn’t that crazy, interesting to see if the President will say anything about this.

Stepanie Grisham will be going back to her old job as the Press Secretary for first lady Melania Trump. This seems to be a clear sign that the move was not caused by any internal pressure, it would appear that the White House is simply looking towards a new media strategy.
