Trump has been handing out pardons left and right in the past few days, with all these pardons it's hard to keep track of who is leaving the jailhouse and who isn’t. Some of those that Trump has pardoned were railroaded by the justice system in bizarre ways while others were people who got the short end of the stick in a massive scandal. Here is who Trump has pardoned yesterday:

1.) Michael Milken

Michael Milken was a financier and philanthropist that became the face of the 1980s insider trading scandals. His crime of insider trading is generally considered a tack on charge given to criminals that are otherwise very hard to nail down, after these laws were initially created they were used and abused. Trump cited Milken’s support of cancer research as the reason for the pardon. Trump also went on to state that Milken has paid the price and served the time he should have already.

2.) Bernard Kerik

Bernard Kerik was a member of the Army and worked his way up to the Commissioner of the New York Police Department. He served at the time of 9/11 and tried his best to help the city recover from the tragedy. Kerik had however committed tax fraud and served 3 years in prison for doing so.

3.) Rod Blagojevich

Former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, was another one of the individuals pardoned yesterday by Trump. Blagojevich choked back tears while thanking the President for pardoning him. Trump took to Twitter to announce the move stating that Blagojevich was a railroaded and has served his time.

4.) Edward DeBartolo Jr.

Former 49ers owner, Edward DeBartolo Jr., was a pawn in a political payoff and took the fall for the whole ordeal. Trump pardoned him and many enjoyed it because outside of the incident he was said to be a good man with a big heart.

5.) Ariel Friedler

Ariel Friedler was charged with attempting to access a protected computer without authorization, he served two months in jail. The charges brought against Ariel Friedler are considered conspiracy charges, this means Friedler never actually did anything wrong he just made plans too. Friedler was among those pardoned yesterday.

6.) Paul Pogue

Paul Pogue was accused of not paying enough in taxes over a three year period, for this he received 3 years in prison despite immediately making steps to pay restitution for the missing amounts. He paid back what he owed and made no effort to avoid making payment, somehow he still ended up in prison. Trump granted Pogue clemency along with many others yesterday.

7.) David Safavian

David Safavian was charged with making false statements and obstruction of justice in 2009. These charges stemmed from an investigation into Jack Abramoff, many see Safvian as being railroaded this is why many theorize that Trump gave him a pardon.

8.) Angela Stanton

Angela Stanton is a widely known TV personality that was caught up in a stolen vehicle ring. Trump is championing her story of redemption and granted her a pardon. The pardon was personally supported by Alveda King.
