President Trump didn't wait long to shame James Comey after the IG report was released showing that Comey violated multiple FBI policies.
According to The Daily Mail:
President Donald Trump slammed disgraced former FBI Director James Comey on Thursday after the Justice Department's Inspector General found that Comey broke dozens of rules at the FBI in a report that only looked at a narrow scope of Comey's actions.
"Perhaps never in the history of our Country has someone been more thoroughly disgraced and excoriated than James Comey in the just released Inspector General’s Report," Trump tweeted. "He should be ashamed of himself!"
"The report found that Comey violated bureau policies by drafting, leaking and retaining the memos," Fox News noted in a report that highlighted 26 rules that Comey broke at the FBI. "However, it noted that the Justice Department declined to prosecute Comey over the violations."
Comey, of course, responded to the IG report in typical Comey fashion:
