Mueller came out for a press conference at the Department of Justice after almost 2 years without a single word. The report told us all that we need to know about the investigation and he officially closed the investigation after summarizing his findings. The media is still running wild with conspiracy despite what the report stated and what he stated today. Here is what Mueller told us in his press conference:

Mueller told the press that he does not intend on doing any testimony and referred to his report as the answer to any question that might be had. He also told the press that he would be returning to his private life after the press conference now that the investigation is over and the special counsel's office is closing.

    2.) Not Constitutional

Mueller told the press that he followed the Justice Department's rules every step of the way and that he couldn’t charge Trump even if he had the evidence because charging a sitting president is unconstitutional. This echoes the words of Mark Levin of Blaze TV, for months he has shot down media figure’s fantasies of Trump getting dragged off in handcuffs.

Mueller made sure to explain that the Russian government and several Russian citizens attempted to meddle with the 2016 election. He stated that the DOJ found sufficient evidence to suggest that the Russian Government gave DNC emails to Wikileaks in an attempt to hurt the Clinton campaign. To go along with this he also told the press that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia.

4.) Charging Trump Was Never on the Table

One of the most important things that Mueller explained was that charging Trump was never an option for the investigation. This goes back to what legal scholars have said, it is unconstitutional to charge a sitting president. Mueller knew this very well and never intended to charge the president even if he had found the evidence sufficient enough to do so.

    5.) Evidence Was Not Sufficient

Mueller reported that the evidence they obtained was insufficient for an indictment of the president. This is a clear sign that the president has committed no crime and officially brings a close to the investigation. This will not stop the media from talking about this however, stay close to TTN for more information as it breaks.
