The proposed budget on the wall is an additional $8.6 billion in funding. This would give him around $18 billion in total for the wall when combined with other funds he has raised.

A major issue in the proposed budget is a cut to foreign aid, this cut is estimated to be around $2.5 billion dollars. This is meant to offset the increase in border spending for the fiscal year.
