President Donald Trump has made a lot of enemies.

While most are in the Democrat Party, there are many Republicans working to take him down every day.

And you won’t believe the way a major Republican just betrayed him.

Finding true friends is difficult for President Trump.

He is fighting both the Democrats and the establishment of the Republican Party.

So it isn’t surprising that he has enemies in both parties.

In many cases, it is the Republican enemies who can do the most damage.

A handful of Republicans standing against the President is enough to block virtually anything he wants to do.

That is a major reason why progress is moving slowly on building the wall on the border, and why a host of other issues aren’t moving forward.

But there is no issue more contentious than Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia collusion during the 2016 election.

Every Democrat in power is fighting to do everything they can to help Mueller, while a handful of Republicans are allowing the witch hunt to continue.

One of those Republicans is Sen. Marco Rubio.

Rubio is infamous for speaking out and opposing President Trump.

He is perhaps the loudest anti-Trump Republican voice in the Senate currently, with the exception of outgoing Sen. Jeff Flake.

In his latest move to snub Trump, Rubio buys into the most ridiculous portion of Mueller’s investigation.

Speaking about Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen, Rubio questions the “hush money” payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels.

Rubio says that Trump is “not above the law” and that applicable punishment should be applied to him if found guilty.

And while what Rubio is saying isn’t necessarily wrong, it proves that he has no idea what he’s talking about when it comes to the payment Cohen made.

As the esteemed attorney Alan Dershowitz explains, the payment sent to Daniels was to protect his family and brand, and that Daniels’ demands are “textbook extortion.”

“It is absolutely textbook extortion and there ought to be a prosecution of any person, man or woman, who approaches a candidate or anybody else and says, ‘unless you pay me money, I’m going to reveal a sex act that occurred.’”

It is issues like this with Mueller’s investigation that should be looked into.

But that doesn’t seem to matter to Sen. Rubio, whose anti-Trump views are well known.

Since the day it began, Mueller’s investigation has been a sham, and a witch hunt.

Deep state officials in the highest levels of government, along with Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee were heavily involved in the steps leading towards Mueller’s investigation.

And since it has begun, it has gone far off from its initial goal.

The goal was to figure out if Russia colluded in the 2016 election.

But now the investigation has gone off to involve payments to a porn star, personal financial crimes from former Trump officials, and the targeting of individuals with no real connection to the President.
