Giuliani Dishes on Mueller Questions: 'Unnecessary' and 'Possible Traps'

Some of the more than two dozen questions special counsel Robert Mueller sent to President Donald Trump to answer are problematic in a legal sense, Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Thursday.
Giuliani spoke with The Washington Post about the list of questions for which Trump could submit answers as soon as Friday.
"There are some that create more issues for us legally than others," Giuliani told the Post. The former New York City Mayor called some of the questions "unnecessary" and others "possible traps."
"We might consider some as irrelevant," Giuliani added.
Trump and his legal team met for more than four hours on Monday and an additional hour-and-a-half Wednesday night, according to the Post.
Mueller's team is investigating whether the Trump campaign had an improper relationship with the Russians in order to defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton two years ago. Giuliani said the questions did not include a hard deadline for submitting answers, but they could be finished by the end of the week.
It was reported Tuesday that Mueller's questions centered on things such as the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr., members of the Trump campaign, and several Russians.
Mueller's team is allegedly working on its final report about Russian interference in 2016 and whether the Trump campaign participated in that.
