On Twitter early this morning, President Trump claimed that Democrat attacks against him are "the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history!" That tweet was, most likely, in direct response to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein decision late yesterday to appoint former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate "Russian intervention" into the 2016 presidential election.

Two hours later, Mr. Trump tweeted again: "With all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign & Obama Administration, there was never a special counsel appointed!" The President is correct. None of the scandals that embroiled Secretary Clinton and President Obama over the past several years (her private email server, ObamaCare, Benghazi, IRS targeting, the Iran nuke deal, etc.) resulted in a special counsel to investigate them. Yet last night, Rosenstein yielded to Democrat (and perhaps media) pressure to appoint Mueller, just four months into the Trump presidency.

Grassfire wants to know what you think. Is the President the victim of a political "witch hunt"? Are Democrats, Establishment Republicans, and the "Mainstream" Media so vehemently opposed to our Commander-in-Chief that they're willing to do almost anything to remove him from office?
