And what will the Trump administration find at the bottom of the swamp? Haney said they will find evidence that the Muslim perpetrators of recent terrorist attacks, such as those in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, San Bernardino, Boston and Fort Hood, were actually known to law enforcement before they committed their deadly attacks.
Esteban Santiago, the Fort Lauderdale airport shooter, was certainly known to the FBI after he walked into its Anchorage office last November and told agents a U.S. intelligence agency was controlling his mind and forcing him to watch ISIS videos. Police in Alaska also knew about Santiago after several encounters in 2016.
The December 2015 San Bernardino massacre hits especially close to home for Haney, because he believes he could have helped prevent the attack if the government had not deleted 67 of his records, including one dealing with an organization with ties to the mosque in Riverside, California, that shooter Syed Farook attended.
Haney thinks if Trump “drains the swamp,” Americans will discover the reasons why so many Muslim terrorists slip through law enforcement’s cracks.
“The fact that they were missed, and that they were able to advance all the way to the point of killing people, we can address that,” he assured WND. “And some of the evidence for those kinds of disconnects in our efforts to protect America from threats both foreign and domestic will be found at the bottom of the swamp.”
20th anniversary
In this year, the 20th anniversary of WND’s founding, the organization is proud to have published such a groundbreaking book from a courageous whistleblower like Philip Haney. Geoffrey Stone, the editorial and production director of WND Books, reflected recently on the legacy of WND Books and the importance of “See Something, Say Nothing.”
“I started reading WorldNetDaily in 2002,” Stone recalled. “It was refreshing to find a news source that covered the news from an honest perspective. The hard-hitting pieces are published by fearless journalists who care more about the truth than following some talking points or toeing a party line.
“It was a blessing in 2013 to be able to start running the book division. WND Books has a strong track record of publishing the same type of hard-hitting books that cover topics other publishers are afraid to touch. From the immigration issue to an overreaching Supreme Court to the concerted effort to destroy the American family to the globalists’ strategy to erase the American dream, WND Books present the truth about what is behind the change in America and how it is making the country weaker and more volatile.
“One of the most dangerous issues WND Books takes on is Islamic terrorism. I was excited when Philip Haney came into our offices in 2015 with a proposal for a book that would blow people’s socks off. As a former DHS agent, Haney had been on the front lines, connecting the dots between our lax immigration policies, the Obama administration’s soft stance toward the Muslim Brotherhood, and key terrorist activities in Boston, San Bernardino and Orlando.
“‘See Something, Say Nothing’ is one of the most important books we’ve published to date. It stands as a wake-up call to the new administration to pay attention to who our enemy is and how they are at work already on our soil. Philip Haney knows what he is talking about and knows how to get us back on track to making America great again.”
