    While most Democrats are running for the front lines in the impeachment fight these Democrats are hedging their bets and waiting to see how things play out. The Democrats have officially opened pandora’s box and now the political ramifications are already coming back to haunt them. Here are the Democrats who chose to avoid the impeachment option:

    1.) Jon Tester

    Montana Democrat Jon Tester is avoiding impeachment and this is likely due to his upcoming election. Being in a red state he would have already seen a tough election but a vote for impeachment would have been another nail in the coffin, a nail he has chosen to avoid.

    Former FBI Director James Comey is against impeaching Trump, even though it is alleged that he tried to get the President removed.  Comey told the press that impeachment is a bad option because the American people need to take responsibility and remove him via a vote in 2020.

    3.) Tulsi Gabbard

    Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard appeared on Fox News to give her thoughts on impeachment, spoiler she didn’t think that impeaching the President was a very smart idea. 

    Looking at this from the outside the perspective of her running for president it makes her stand out, even more, Gabbard represents a very blue district and most in a district like this would go all-in for impeachment.

    4.) Terri Sewell

    Alabama Democrat Terri Sewell has not signed off on the impeachment movement yet, she is in a vulnerable district so this might play a part in her decision.

    5.) Tom O’Halleran

    Arizona Democrat Tom O’Halleran is not on board with impeachment just yet, this may be because he was once a Republican, in 2014 he left the party citing disagreements with party policy.

    6.) Al Lawson

    Florida Democrat Al Lawson is not on board with impeaching President Trump just yet. This may be because of the lack of evidence for a justified impeachment, something that didn't change the minds of many of his fellow Democrats.

    7.) Peter Visclosky

    Indiana Democrat Peter Visclosky is not going for the impeachment option just yet. He is in a vulnerable district and has been referred to as a moderate Democrat in the past.

    Maine Democrat Jared Golden is not on board with impeachment. With all the talk of Trump potentially flipping Maine in 2020 it should be no surprise that Democrats there are trying to conserve their seats.
