Mitch McConnell Calls For Vote on New Dem Proposal

Democrats recently introduced legislation that would radically change the landscape of the United States in order to address climate change. Many have called the proposal radical and socialist and many Dems, including presidential hopefuls, have co-sponsored the legislation.
Now, Senator Mitch McConnell is calling their bluff and forcing them to publically vote on it. One co-sponsor, Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts had a public meltdown about the power move.
According to Fox News:
Last week, Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., introduced a sprawling blueprint of an environmental and economic overhaul that has gotten the support of numerous Democrats, including most of the candidates who have announced 2020 presidential runs.
However, after McConnell told the press that he would bring the Green New Deal to a vote, Markey took to Twitter to slam the decision.
