Congressional Democrats have rejected a onetime bipartisan compromise from President Trump to end the partial government shutdown. Here is the worst part, they have already supported this deal as cosponsors of H.R.496 (in the House) and S.128 (in the Senate), colloquially known as the BRIDGE Act.

They simply don’t want to give Trump a win. Their visceral dislike for the president is now on full display for the world to see.

Here are some of the most prominent names that are rejecting the very deal they once championed. Be sure to click through to the end – there's more than one 2020 contender on this list!

We must move on the Bridge Act quickly to protect DREAMers. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/senators-republican-democrats-dreamers-immigrants-232431 …

Sen. Durbin (D-Ill.) was one of the co-sponsors of S.128, but now, like a toddler he doesn't want the toy that was just given to him.

Along with all congressional Democrats, he's unwilling to swap border wall funding for immigrant protection.

Kamala Harris was a co-sponsor of the BRIDGE Act. Now, she is turning her back on DACA recipients and furloughed federal workers to spite the president. We guarantee this change of heart has to do with her recently announced White House run.

You can't be anti-Trump enough running in a Democratic primary!

Sen. Gillibrand can't flip flop on the issues she once supported fast enough. Case in point, her outright rejection of Trump's olive branch even though it's a mirror copy of the BRIDGE Act.

The New York Senator's naked ambition in the run up to the 2020 presidential election is noxious. Whether or not voters buy it, remains to be seen.

Rep. Jayapal (D-Wash.), who never hesitates to bash the president, tried to get the BRIDGE Act through the legislative process. Now, she opposes the very deal she once co-sponsored as a non-starter.

Failed Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) was once one of the most prominent supporters of the BRIDGE Act – but now that he's flirting with a White House run in 2020, he has to be as ideological as possible.
